The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of lightweight foamed material using an emulsion of vinylidene chloride, the fiber slurry, vinylidene chloride emulsion, water glass, the polyvalent metal ions, water and blowing agent prepared by a liquid foaming agent having a density of 0.03 flame retardant one kind of lightweight insulation material -0.06g / cm3 of. Wherein the product has water resistance, good corrosion resistance and high surface hardness.
