Self-healing Fault Tolerance Technique in Cloud Datacenter

In recent times, cloud computing has emerged as a leading technology for providing reliable, secure, sustainable and scalable services. These services can be provided in both private and public clouds and also in hybrid clouds. Many useful services are available in the cloud and it has been used for wide range of purposes in many applications. The cloud computing framework still faces many issues and one of them is the occurrence of faults. In this paper, an self-healing fault tolerant technique is proposed that is used to handle the execution of user request when the allocated host or system fails. The fault injection and fault tolerant are simulated by using the CloudSim toolkit and the obtained results are compared with normal execution. The results show that the proposed fault tolerant technique improves the execution rate of the failed requests.
