Influence of Ambient Temperature on Solar Power Estimation in Goa State

The paper reports estimation of solar power considering both the available solar energy resource and the temperature of three weather season of Goa state from solar radiation resource assessment-NIWE data. A double-diode model was implemented incorporating the physical electrical parameter of mono-crystalline solar module LG315N1C. The influence of the ambient temperature on the estimated solar power was clearly observed and showed that April and November produced maximum current 10 A, 7.7A and power 400.9W, 308.1W respectively. The estimated solar power shows a direct relation with ambient temperature.
