2010
[Objective] To analyze the results of X-ray images, serum calcium and phosphorus levels in Children with childhood growing pains,so as to provide the theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of growing pains. [Methods] The results of X-ray films, serum calcium and phosphorus levels in 78 cases with childhood growing pains were analyzed, and the results were compared with that of normal children. [Results] There was no difference in X-ray images between the two groups, the level of blood calcium in patient group was lower than control group, and the incidence of low blood calcium was higher than control group. However, there was no significant difference in blood phosphorus level between the two groups. [Conclusion] Childhood growing pains is closely related to the occurrence of calcium deficiency, and suppling calcium to children positively is an effective way to prevent growing pains.
