BackgroundAcute appendicitis is the most common surgical emergency during childhood. Accurate early diagnosis is important to avoid complications and unnecessary interventions. In 2002, Samuel developed the Pediatric Appendicitis Score (PAS) based on a series of data obtained from anamnesis, physica
