The use and protection of rifampin as an anti-tuberculosis agent.

Abstract At present rifampin is mainly indicated for resistant cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, although it may become a first choice drug. Care must be taken in prescription and management. This article lists indications, dosages and lengths of rifampin therapy, together with appropriate combination drugs.
