Avoiding complications of endoscopic sinus surgery: Analysis of coronal, axial, and sagittal computed tomographic images

1995
Computed tomographic (CT) imaging is an integral part of the preoperative evaluation of patients undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery. Images obtained in the coronal and axial projections must be carefully analyzed to avoid operative complications. Reformatted images in the sagittal projections are useful in planning endoscopic approaches to the sphenoid and frontal sinuses.
