Формирование татарской общины г. Самары в XVI-XVIII вв. : некоторые аспекты тюркской колонизации Южного Средневолжья

The article is devoted to the history of Turkic colonization of the Samara Region the formation of the Tatar community in Samara in the XVI-XVIII centuries. It discusses the interaction between the servant men (Kasimov Tatars, Meshcheryaks), that are on the service of the Russian tsar, and Nogai in the XVI century; contains stages of penetration and settling of servant men and trade Tatars in the city in XVII-XVIII century; characteristics of their social status, economic activity, data on the number of Turkish settlers is given. Based on the latest historiographical research and archival documents it concludes some characteristic features of Turkic colonization in the Southern Middle Volga Region.
