PENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL TENTANG IMUNISASI MR DI KLINIK PRATAMA NIAR KOTA MEDAN

Measles immunization and various efforts that have been made, in 2014 deaths from measles decreased to 115,000 per year, with an estimated 314 children per day or 13 deaths per hour. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of pregnant women's knowledge about MR immunization. This research is descriptive by using primary data by distributing questionnaires. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the Pratama Niar Clinic in 2019 totaling 15 respondents for accidental sampling technique. Data analysis is presented in the form of frequency distribution tables using existing theories and libraries. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded from 15 well-informed respondents of 10 respondents (66.7%). Based on age at most 20-35 years as many as 11 respondents (73.3%), education was at most junior high schools as many as 7 respondents (46.7%), parity was at most grandmultipara as many as 9 respondents (60%), sources of information were the most print media as many as 5 respondents (33.3%). Of the 15 respondents, the most respondents who answered correctly about MR immunization in statements number 2.5 and 15 were 15 respondents (100%) and the most respondents who answered incorrectly about MR immunization in statement number 15 were respondents (73.3%) . Based on the results of the study it can be concluded from 15 knowledgeable respondents as many as 10 (66.7%). Where each respondent has different characteristics based on age, education, parity, and source of information. It is recommended to pregnant women, especially in the Pratama Niar Clinic to carry out MR immunization.
