Use of a sperm dilution medium, comprising: - a means containing base components suitable for diluting the sperm of a given species, said medium comprises a solution of base minerals and carbohydrates and contains no milk; - from 1 to 100 g / l of native phosphocaseinate; - 0.5 to 12.5% by weight of dry matter of egg yolk or from 0.4 to 10% by weight of dry matter of plasma egg yolk; and - 1 to 10% glycerol; to improve the ability of sperm fertilization weakened by the freezing process or sorting sperm by flow cytometry.
