Stability of near- and mid-infrared free-space links under strong scattering environment

The stability of analog and digital free-space optical links operating in the near-infrared (830 nm, 1300 nm and 1550 nm) and mid-infrared (8 /spl mu/m) are compared under the influence of strong scattering media within a wind tunnel.
