Afterword: Final Thoughts About International Policing and Peacekeeping

This chapter summarises the discussion and findings from the previous chapters and highlights the apparent weaknesses and challenges often observed in the common approaches to international peacekeeping and related rule of law and police reform efforts. A number of significant recommendations for future police peacekeeping and post-conflict reform deployments are outlined.
