Searching and Researching PhD–Student in Music Therapy

As a PhD–student in music therapy I flnd it nessecary to reflect not only on the “product” but also on the process of research. In this article I will describe the flrst developmental steps of my own process. I will show how my research focus has changed several times, and how supervision and discussions in the research milieu has been important in this process. Finally I will discuss this with respect to the specific qualities of qualitative research in music therapy.
