Observation and Data Reduction

In the present thesis, to study spectral and timing properties of primary X-rays from active galactic nuclei (AGNs), we selected 13 Suzaku datasets of type I AGNs, which exhibit relatively bright and variable X-ray signals with sufficiently long exposures. The XIS and HXD datasets of 13 AGNs were reduced in the standard ways which are employed in many Suzaku data analyses.
