그래핀 위에서의 나노유체 증발 및 자가조립

2013
Graphene is the most popular material in the academia and various industries, due to its exceptional material properties that can be used in diverse applications. In this presentation, the wettability and self-assembly of alumina nanofluids on the graphene coated glass surface are discussed. Also, the procedure of making the substrate, i.e. synthesis and transfer of graphene on glass substrates is reported. The evaporative self-assembly of alumina nanofluids are examined on CVD-synthesized graphene-coated glass (GC) slides and the cover glass (CG) alone. The measurements reveals that the GC is more hydrophobic (~90˚) than the CG (40˚). The evaporation processes on both the substrates are characterized by upright and inverted optical microscopy and goniometry and the result is explained in terms of the cavity/crack formation, the wettability of the substrate, and the evaporation time.
