Arthroscopic suture fixation for the treatment of Non-absorption of children tibial spine avulsion fracture

Objective:To study the tibial spine fracture through the arthroscopic methods of treatment.Methods:Ways Since June 2001 to October 2007,a total of 37 cases treated such patients,using non-absorbable suture arthroscopic fixation,achieved good results.Results:All 37 cases were followed up.Time 12-18 months,the average time(15±2) months.According to Rasmussen score,this group of 29 cases of excellent,good six cases,two cases can be.Conclusion:Arthroscopic surgery tibial spine avulsion fracture in the reset and fixed with surgery,but with less trauma and disruption of intra-articular small,light reaction,not to undermine support for tape and joint capsule,reducing post-operative adhesions or stiffness,the advantages of faster functional recovery.For children tibial epiphysis spine injury in the general use of steel wire,non-absorbable suture,absorbable suture.
