Motion of the magnetization vector of superparamagnetic particles in the stationary case

Abstract A method of determination of transition probabilities for the magnetization vector M to change its orientation from one easy axis to another is developed. The suggested method is based on a stochastic model of the motion of M and reduces the problem to the consideration of the Fokker-Planck equation with appropriate initial and boundary conditions. Numerical estimations are carried out for the cubic case.
