The invention relates to a fishery condition detecting device based on seabird images. The fishery condition detecting device comprises a buoy body, the buoy body is composed of a housing and a top cover, the top cover is made from transparent material, a camera is arranged under the top cover, and the camera is used for capturing seabird images; and the camera is connected to a circuit board in the buoy body, and the circuit board is used for processing the seabird images captured by the camera, determining whether there are shoals of fish, and sending fishery condition signals according to a result of determination. The fishery condition detecting device based on the seabird images can enlarge the scope of detection.
