Gambaran Kualitas Hidup Lansia Penderita Hipertensi Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mojolaban

Hypertension is a degenerative and cardiovascular disease that mostly affects the majority of elderly people in Indonesia. The large number of elderly people with hypertension with physical and psychosocial changes that the elderly experience, will affect the quality of life of the elderly to live their daily lives. The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of the quality of life of elderly people with hypertension. This research is a quantitative type of research that uses descriptive survey method with sampling quota sampling technique involving 90 elderly people with hypertension in the working area of the Mojolaban Public Health Center using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability and has obtained valid and reliable results. The results showed the majority of respondents in the age range 60-69 years, female sex, primary school education, not working, still in marital status, and do not have other comorbidities. The results of the study also the majority of respondents have quality in the physical, psychological, social personal domain in the assessment of moderate quality of life, and in the environmental domain the majority of respondents have a good quality of life. The quality of life of elderly people with hypertension with other comorbidities has moderate quality of life assessments in all domains. Suggestions for puskesmas services, one of which is conducted routinely, and for further researchers to conduct door-to-door research so that respondents have more free time and researchers can make objective observations to convince respondents with answers that respondents have filled out in the questionnaire.
