Optimization of Delay Time of Freight Trains Based on Coordinated Wagon-Flow Allocation Operation between Technical Station

2020
The wagon-flow allocation operation of freight trains is an important part of railway freight transportation. A reasonable and effective wagon-flow allocation scheme can improve the efficiency of railway freight transportation in technical stations. Based on this, a coordinative wagon-flow allocation model is established aiming at the minimum total delay of freight trains at adjacent technical stations. By adjusting the hump sequence of freight trains, the coordinative wagon-flow allocation operation of the two technical stations is realized. Finally, an experimental example is used to analyze and verify the model. The results show that the cooperative wagon-flow allocation operation between technical stations can significantly reduce the total delay time of the trains and improve the capacity utilization rate of the stations. This method has certain enlightenment significance for improving the overall transportation efficiency of the road network.
