Computerised Product Database: Registered Chemical Contact Allergens

A product database is one way to organise product information which, compared with, for example, labelling and data sheets, has some obvious advantages when it comes to cross-sectional overviews on the distribution of contact allergens on product categories. This chapter is an introduction to the Danish Product Register Database (PROBAS) and a presentation of a study on selected contact allergens and their occurrence in product categories covered by this database.
