Often in a process of oilfield development design, the optimization of reservoir and surface infrastructure is considered sequentially, without appraising their dynamic interaction. The integrated modeling approach is applied to account for the dynamic connection between reservoirs and surface facilities. The integrated analysis of the system reservoir - well -oil gathering system - separator allows selecting efficient pressure for the first-stage separation. The article describes the example of model construction for one of the Rosneft's fields, and reviews results of pressure optimization at the entrance of oil processing facilities based on this model.
