Energy Efficient Resource Allocation in Cache based Terahertz Vehicular Networks: A Mean-Field Game Approach

2021
Terahertz (THz) frequency band has become one of the popular researches for the short-range broadband, highrate data communication, reliability and strong anti-interference ability, which provides a solution of dense vehicular network scenario with better performance. In this paper, we introduce a cache based dense vehicular networks with THz frequency link and study the resource allocation problem of power optimization and subband allocation by maximizing energy efficiency (EE). In order to reduce the computational complexity, the original optimization problem is formulated as a mean-field game (MFG) problem, where each cache access node (cAP) can solve its local EE optimization problem by Dinkelbach-style algorithm and Lagrangian dual method. Different access cells interact through mean power of MFG. A global EE optimization solution by MFG algorithm is proposed to associate the local strategy of each cell. The numerical results suggest the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
