System and method for personalized sound insulation in car audio areas

Embodiments include a vehicle that includes an audio system that is configured to provide a variety of audio areas within a vehicle cabin, and at least one that is communicatively coupled to the audio system display. The display is configured to display a separate user interface for each audio range. Each user interface includes an engine noise control and a cabin noise control for adjusting an audio output which is provided to the corresponding audio range. Embodiments also comprise a method of providing user-controlled sound insulation in a wide variety of audio areas within a vehicle. The method comprises presenting a user interface that includes an engine noise control and a cabin noise control, for each audio section, and generating an audio output for each audio area based on a first signal received from the engine noise control value and a second signal received from the cabin noise control of the corresponding user interface value.
