Plasma and Urinary Oxalate and Glycolate in Normal Subjects and Idiopathic Calcium Stone Formers

1994
We have developed high pressure liquid chromatographic (HPLC) methods for the measurement of oxalate in plasma, and for glycolate (a metabolic precursor of oxalate) in plasma and urine. The present study reports fasting plasma and 24 h urinary oxalate and glycolate in idiopathic CaOx stone formers (SF) and normal subjects.
