Ethernet path obtaining method and device

The invention provides an Ethernet path obtaining method and device; the method comprises the following steps: determining an object path from a shortest path set; determining whether the object pathhas passed all nodes in an electric layer forwarding domain E-FD or not; if not, using the object path tail node as a novel head node, using the object path to update the shortest path set until the object path passes all nodes of the E-FD, and using the path on which the object path passes all nodes of the E-FD as the finally determined Ethernet path, wherein the object path is not spliced and passes all nodes in the E-FD. A conventional method in the prior art is complex in an Ethernet path calculating process, and cannot consider the path cost; the method and device can solve said problems,thus simplifying the Ethernet path calculations and reducing path costs.
