Case study 1: Chongqing Eighth Secondary School

Chongqing Eighth Secondary School is located in Sha Ping Ba District in downtown Chongqing in the Sichuan province. Founded in 1938 by Yang Ruo Yu, a social celebrity with innovative ideas on education, the school has a history of nearly 70 years. It is one of the biggest secondary schools in the city of Chongqing, with about 6000 students and 400 teachers.
