FFT-SAR Algorithm for MIMO System Based on Stationary Phase Method

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) imaging system has been applied for security scenarios for high resolution and flexibility to design array. A fast Fourier transform-synthetic aperture radar (FFT-SAR) algorithm based on stationary phase method is presented in this paper. The proposed algorithm takes advantage of the FFT technique and stationary phase method, avoiding interpolation and padding point in convolution progress. Thus, this algorithm can reduce the complexity and computation time, compared with conventional FFT-SAR algorithm on the condition that the equivalent imaging quality. The simulation results have verified the algorithm.
