X-ray diffraction optical elements based on heterostructures

1988
Abstract Diffraction of X-ray spherical waves by perfect crystal and heterostructures with the reflectivity changing with the sample depth has been studied in terms of the kinematical theory. It is shown that such structures form the image of a monochromatic source at high linear resolution. The results are discussed within the concept of Fresnel phase layers originated under the Bragg reflection condition.
