Photoelectric and galvanomagnetic measurements on p-type germanium with dislocations

Results of photoelectric and galvanomagnetic measurements on p-type Ge with dislocations are presented. The lifetime of the minority carriers was found to be anisotropic. The experimental results are discussed in the light of other results referring to the lifetime, and some ideas on a possible dislocation energy level structure are suggested.
