Remote characterization of fluid saturation in Western Sands. Annual report FY 1979. [NMR logging]

Methods are to be developed for defining fluid saturation, porosity, and permeability in Western Gas Sands as found under in-situ reservoir conditions. The analyses will then be correlated with NMR studies and an improved downhole NMR tool will be developed. Accomplishments during FY 1979 in NMR include production of a homogeneous magnetic field, remote NMR detection, NMR sensitivity vs distance from axis, etc. 22 figures, 2 tables. (DLC)
