Impact of A Nutrition Education-Based Program on the Development of Social Interaction among Children with Motor Impairments

The purpose of this study was to identify the impact a nutrition education Program on the development of social interaction among children with motor impairment. The population of the study consisted of 75 Children. the participants was 45; only 30 of them completed the treatment .They were divided into two groups, the experimental group included 15 while the other group (n= 15) served as a control group. Two instruments were employed, the social interaction measure and the dietary behavior measure. Parametric procedures were used to detect any differences between the study groups. The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences on both measures (the social interaction measure and the dietary behavior measure) in furor of the posttest and the experimental group. The results validate the fact that the nutrition education program yield successful results. It was recommended that courses in nutrition to introduced to children motor impairment. Further training and continuing courses to be held for parents of such children on periodic basis.
