Distribution and forming pattern of deep volcanic gas reservoirs in the south of Songliao Basin

Deep volcanic gas reservoirs have become an important growth point of oil and gas reserves in the south of Songliao Basin.The study on distribution and forming pattern of volcanic gas reservoirs is not thorough enough due to low degree of exploration.Based on in-depth analysis of the horizontal and vertical distribution characteristics of the reservoirs already discovered,three reservoir forming patterns are summarized for the east,central and west fault depressed zones.Based on deep geological understanding,the distribution and forming patterns of volcanic gas reservoirs are generalized to provide a thought for volcanic gas reservoir exploration.
