Embodiments of the invention disclose an image detection alarming method and a related device, which are used for quickly and accurately discovering an abnormal condition and giving out alarming information. The method comprises the steps of obtaining first image information, wherein the first image information is image information of a target region, collected by a target collection device at a target moment, the first image information includes human face image information or environment image information of the target region, and the target region is a range region in which the image information is collected by the target collection device; judging whether the first image information is matched with second image information, stored in a database, of the target region at the target moment or not; and when the first image information is not matched with the second image information, giving out target alarming information.
