The invention discloses a rapid sterilization method. The rapid sterilization method comprises the following steps: (1), vessels and/or goods to be disinfected are placed into a sterilization instrument, a 200-280 nm ultraviolet source and a supporting mechanism are arranged inside the sterilization instrument, the vessels to be disinfected and/or the supporting mechanism are/is made of a material capable of allowing 200-280 nm ultraviolet rays to pass through, and the ultraviolet transmittance of the material which is 1 mm in thickness and capable of allowing 200-280 nm ultraviolet rays to pass through is equal to or greater than 60%; (2) an ultraviolet source is used to irradiate the vessels and/or goods to be disinfected from at least two directions, wherein the ultraviolet source is an ultraviolet radiator or an ultraviolet LED, and the ultraviolet radiation power per unit area of the ultraviolet source is equal to or greater than 20 mW/cm2, and the ultraviolet transfer efficiency of the ultraviolet source is equal to or greater than 30%. Correspondingly, the invention further discloses a dedicated sterilization device used in the rapid sterilization method. Through the adoption of the device and the method, quick and thorough disinfection can be achieved under conditions of small volume, low cost and low energy consumption.
