A Power Allocation Strategy for Target Localization Based on Fuzzy Chance-Constrained Programming

2016
A robust power allocation algorithm is proposed to improve the accuracy of target localization in unmanned airborne radar system. Unlike existing power allocation algorithms for radar system assuming that the target RCS is a priori known, or has a fixed transfer model, from the fact that target RCS is uncertain and variable, and it has a certain fuzziness in nature — in this paper, we consider the target RCS as a fuzzy variable. A power allocation algorithm for target localization based on fuzzy chance-constrained programming (FCCP) is constructed. The FCCP model is based on the Cramer-Rao Lower Bound (CRLB) for target positioning error. The suboptimal solution of FCCP problem is given by using the hybrid intelligent algorithm, the simulation results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the algorithm.
