Emissionen aus Ölheizungen im stationären Betriebszustand. (1) : Kleinfeuerungsanlagen bis 350 kW mit Heizöl Extraleicht

1996
During the last three years the exhaust emissions of about 290 boilers using domestic heating fuel were investigated in Austria during stationary operation phase. First the plants were measured under those conditions as they were, this means at installed power, without variation of the adjustment and using the available heating fuel. If it was possible, additional measurements were done using a test fuel. After service and adjustment of the heating plants the measurements were repeated with both heating oils. 95% of the investigated plants had a power output up to 350 kW. The data of these plants were analysed. After classification of the heating plants according to technological criteria emission factors were calculated for each technological group and compared with each other. As could be expected, modern boiler and burner technology showed lower values concerning NO x , CO, soot and heating losses in the exhaust gas than the older technologies from the seventies and early eighties. In all groups service and adjustment of the plants resulted in an improvement of the combustion parameters and in a reduction of emissions of up to 90%. The influence of the fuel on the level of emissions was very low.
