Optical Forces of Forward Stimulated Brillouin Scattering in Optical Nanofibers

The optical forces of forward stimulated Brillouin scattering (FSBS) in nanofibers are investigated through numerical methods. Only the transverse-distributed boundary pressure of FSBS contributes significantly to the Brillouin gain in nanofibers.
