The invention discloses a soil tensile strength testing apparatus, the apparatus comprises a platform, a loading system and a data transmission system, the apparatus also comprises a stretching system; the stretching system comprises a first stretching die and a second stretching die, the first stretching die and the second stretching die respectively comprise a stretching die sidewall, a stretching die end wall and an extension wall; the stretching die end wall and the stretching die sidewall are fixed to form a soil space possessing opening; the extension wall and the stretching die sidewall are vertically connected; the openings of the first stretching die and the second stretching die are relatively placed, and pass through the extension wall for fixing; the stretching system and the loading system are connected and are fixed on the platform, the data transmission system is fixed on the loading system. According to the invention, a fastener is used for tightly fixing a T-shaped stainless steel insert and the extension wall of the stretching system, so that leakage of soil from the slit can be avoided during a testing process. The employed stretching die is in a trapezoid structure, so that soil sample sliding can be effectively prevented.
