Apparatus and method for warning generation of vehicle

The present invention relates to an alerting apparatus and a method of a vehicle. In order to solve problems generated in an occurrence of impact alert based on an impact-required time, alerting is generated by using another condition based on a distance. To this end, the alerting method of a vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a step of calculating a distance and a relative speed of another vehicle at the front; a step of calculating the impact-required time with respect to the another vehicle from the distance and the relative speed; and a step of generating the alert if at least one of a first condition and a second condition is satisfied, in which the impact-required time is equal to or less than a predetermined alert generating time under the first condition, and the distance is equal to or less than a predetermined alert generating distance under the second condition.
