The parameters that control variability of the spectral brightness of forest ecosystems imagery are described for the cases of moss, mixed herbs, tall grasses, and sphagnum groups of forest types in Priangarskiy taiga region of Eastern Siberia. Based on the analysis of ecological dynamics of the stands of similar forest growth conditions the trends in spectral brightness dynamics are revealed for the groups of forest types. They depend on the age and coniferous species share in the stands.
