Occlusive Arterial Disease Caused by Radiotherapy

Radiation induced arteriopathy is currently an uncommon sequalae of irradiation, however because of the increasing use of radiotherapy in the management of neoplastic conditions its recognition is increasingly important. We evaluated a patient who suffered from right leg ischemia, which had been arterial injured by radiotherapy for dysgerminoma 40 years previously.
