Salts of metal ions with organic arsonic acids—I: Salts of phenylarsonic and o-arsanilic acids with cobalt(II), nickel(II), zinc(II) and cadmium(II)

1972
Abstract Salts of phenylarsonic and o -arsanilic acids have been prepared with cobalt(II), nickel(II), zinc(II) and cadmium(II) which can be represented by the general formula ML . x H 2 O( M = metal, L = ligand, x = 0, 1 2 , 1). On the basis of i.r. and reflectance spectral data as well as paramagnetic susceptibility measurements at different temperatures, the salts of cobalt(II) and nickel(II) have been assigned distorted octahedral structures.
