Efektivitas Ekstrak Daun, Biji dan Kulit Batang Mahoni (Swietenia Mahagoni Jacq) Terhadap Ulat Grayak (Spodoptera Litura F.)

Mahogany plants ( Swietenia mahagoni Jacq) have bitter taste fruit, the leaves contain a lot of tannin so it is possible to use it for biopesticides. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leaf extracts, seeds and bark of mahogany as bioinsecticides to control armyworm ( Spodoptera litura F.). The research was conducted at the Environmental Laboratory, Agrotechnology Program Study, Faculty of Agriculture, Trunojoyo University. The concentration tested for each part of the plant is 0%, 6%, 8%, 10%, 12%. Lethal concentration of the mortality of S. litura larvae by 50% occurred in 3% seed extract, leaf extract 3.3% and stem extract 4.8% while larval mortality up to 90% occurred in 5.5% seed extract, 9.6% leaf extract and extract bark 6.2%. Estimation of the time needed to cause 50% mortality of S. litura larvae in 4, 6 and 5 days, respectively. Keywords: Mahogany plants, extracts, lethal consentration, lethal time, Spodoptera litura F.
