The Research Review of PBL in ESL\EFL Abroad

This paper reviews and analyzes the current research situation of PBL in ESL\EFL(English as a Second Language\English as a Foreign Language) abroad from the perspective of definition, characteristics, functions and implementation of PBL to provide some references for English teachers who want to implement project-based learning in junior and senior middle schools in China.
