We investigated the association of polymorphic variants of genes of tumor necrosis factor and interleukin 8. Studies have revealed that the genotype GG (OR = 2,07; 95% CI 1,17-3,63) and allele G (OR = 1,90; 95% CI 1,14-3,17) polymorphic locus-308G > A gene TNFA, the TT genotype (OR = 1,876; 95% CI 1,064-3,306) and T allele (OR = 1,556; 95% CI 1,025-2,364) polymorphic locus-251T> A gene IL8, are markers of increased risk of pyoinflammatory diseases of maxillofacial area in children.
