Las series televisivas como recurso didáctico: autopercepción del pensamiento crítico en la asignatura de Prevención y Resolución de conflictos

This research aims to show the reflections of students of the Master's Degree in
Secondary Education in the subject of Prevention and resolution and conflicts of the
2019-20 course through the use of television series under a specific analysis model that
seeks to investigate the self-perception of development of critical thinking. Through the
Merli serie, students from the three groups of the subject of Conflict Prevention and
Resolution, through teamwork, analyzed the conflicts of a chapter of the current
television series. The students showed the usefulness of the series to acquire a global
vision of the conflict, differentiate types of conflicts and learn to manage conflict
situations in their professional future.
The study is an exploratory work under a mixed approach; For the collection of the
information, a validated questionnaire was used and, in addition, a group evaluation
questionnaire with open questions aimed at knowing the experiences that the students
had at the end of the subject of Conflict Prevention and Resolution was raised. This
analysis model allows the use of the series to become a strategy and an effective
didactic resource for the stimulation and development of critical thinking, since it
provides students with tools that have an impact on their learning process,
understanding the complexity of daily conflict situations.
