Опыт лесной рекультивации в районе медеплавильного завода ЗАО «Карабашмедь»

The results of forest recultivation of disturbed soils in ZAO “Karabashmed” are summarized. There were used the terracing method and the planting method. It was found that weeping birch is characterized as the best retention of all hardwood. It is also reasonable to use aspen and goat-willow during the recultivation. The process of natural forest regeneration began on the performed terraces 17 years after the start of the experiment.
