Catalytic Combustion of Diesel Soot over Rare Earths Ultrafine Powder La-Co Complex Oxide Catalysts

Three kinds of catalysts were synthesized by organic acid compound method including Co3O4,NiCo2O4 and LaCo204. The catalytic perfermances of these catalysts for diesel soot catalytic combustion were investigated using temperature-programmed oxidation reactions. The results demonstrate that the catalysts containing Co3O4 active components can lower largely the temperature of soot combustion
