[Diagnosis of a cardiac metastasis of a fibrosarcoma by two-dimensional echocardiography (author's transl)].

: A case of a 32 year-old male with a cardiac metastasis of a fibrosarcoma is reported. The patient suffered from chest pain, the ECG revealed deep negative T-waves in the precordial leads. A tumor in the apical region of the left ventricle was found by two dimensional echocardiography, whereas the diagnosis was not possible by the M-mode recording.
